The board of The Supreme Court of Louisiana Historical Society (SCLAHS) met on August 28, 2014 at the Louisiana Supreme Court. Donna D. Fraiche, Board President, welcomed incoming board members Judge Wendell Manning, Louisiana Bar Foundation (LBF) President, and Joseph Larry Shea, Jr., Louisiana State Bar Association (LSBA) President. President Fraiche thanked outgoing board members, Leo C. Hamilton, Immediate Past LBF President, and Richard K. Leefe, Immediate Past LSBA President, for their service on the board. She also announced that Judge Marc T. Amy, Third Circuit Court of Appeal, was retiring from the board, and she thanked him for his remarkable service as an officer and board member.

Also during the meeting, the board discussed upcoming programming, plans to launch its new website, and ways to increase its current membership of 207 to better reflect that of the LSBA.

Attending the meeting were Donna D. Fraiche, Board President; Judge Marc T. Amy, First Vice President; Mathile W. Abramson, Second Vice President; and Benjamin West Janke, Treasurer.
