Mission
The Supreme Court of Louisiana Historical Society is a nonpartisan, non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of the Supreme Court of Louisiana, its influence upon the development of the Civil Law, and its impact on the development of the State of Louisiana.
The Society seeks to accomplish its mission by encouraging historical research and publication of materials of historical interest; supporting lectures; and collecting historical documents, portraits, and artifacts, and displaying them to the public in a museum and a website supported by the Society.
