Benjamin West Janke is an attorney in the New Orleans office of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, PC, focusing his practice on commercial litigation and intellectual property.  Mr. Janke has a broad range of advocacy experience in contract, trademark, media, construction, insurance, mortgage, and transportation litigation. Mr. Janke also has experience in real estate transactions and litigation, including secured and unsecured creditor representation, foreclosures and collections, and title disputes.  With respect to legal scholarship and reform, Mr. Janke has published several law journal articles on matters of comparative law, worked with the prescription committee of the Louisiana Law Institute, and served as a board member of the Supreme Court of Louisiana Historical Society.
